Core JAVA Developer:
with E Trading Platform Experience
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design & development of the firm's proprietary, highperformance FI E-Trading platform encompassing fixed income all products (Credits/Rates)
- Understand RUN, Axes, and RFQs workflow for Dealer to Client markets such as MarketAxess, TradeWeb, and Bloomberg.
- Drive implementation and design with an emphasis on high availability, scalability, and reusability
- Work with other Fixed Income front office team leads to promote framework reusability across all business
- Champion best practice software development life cycle with an emphasis on testdriven coding methodology
- Balance time to market (client delivery) with proper governance, compliance, and audit mandates
- Mentor junior developer
Required Background:
- 5+ years of financial service experience
- Able to communicate effectively with the desk.
- Strong design, coding, testing, and debugging skills
- Strong experience in frontoffice trading systems with an emphasis on E-Trading
- Programming Languages
- Java (10+ years), C#, Javascript a plus.
- Must have general Fixed Income Pricing and Analytic knowledge
- Must have strong multithreaded programming experience
- Must know Client Markets MarketAxess, Bloomberg, TradeWeb
- Must know Credit Buy-Side/Sell-Side market structure
- Knowledge of FIX protocol a plus
- Knowledge of ION or Broadway API a plus
- Knowledge of KDB/Q a plus
