What your background should look like:

Qualifications:
B.S. Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electronics, Manufacturing or related)
Minimum of 8 years applicable engineering experience
Six Sigma Green Belt training preferred.
In-Depth knowledge of advanced plastic molding manufacturing methods and systems
Experience on High Speed Cables is a plus
Proficient in advanced problem solving skills including statistical analysis
Excellent Project Management and New Product Introduction Skills
Knowledge in SAP
Must be proficient in the English language
Leadership Experience is a plus
3D Design software (CREO, SolidWorks, Catia, Autodesk)

Responsibilities:

Subject matter expert in Molding processes.
Develop cable overmolding processes.
Participates in daily meetings with the operations team aimed at identifying and resolving process issues quickly.
Ensures that the processes run by the manufacturing team are performing at the designed efficiencies.
Responsible for driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, OEE. Scrap, and cost using the TEOA tools and philosophy.
Works closely with the launch organization and the Project manager on the introduction of new products.
Develop expertise team (Engineers and Technicians) on molding processes.
Capture cost savings and return on investment using TE's TEBIT system and contribute towards the sites cost saving targets.
Use technical expertise in molding process to define, document and provide training for current best practice, ensuring cost effective, repeatable, and highquality practices are used for both existing production and New Product Introductions (NPI).
Able to assist on the manufacturing tools design.
To observe Health and Safety regulations as laid down in company procedures and Government legislation.
Develop roadmaps for cost improvements related to molding processes but not limited to
