Your impact as a Software Engineer:

Responsibilities:

Document and implement functionality.
Perform code reviews with other engineers. You'll work with Product Management and other stakeholders (Backend, UX, etc.) to iterate on new features within the our products.
Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a highscale web environment.
Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
Consistently ship small features and improvements with mínimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects.
Work collaboratively with fellow software engineers to build features requested by business stakeholders.
Diagnose, debug and perform root cause analysis of issues and defects.
Applies system design, development and process standards.
Creates, maintains, and publishes system level documentation with guidance, including system diagrams.
Ensures requirements are clear, concise and complete prior to starting development. Works with product development and stakeholders to evaluate feasibility.

Required Experience and Characteristics:

An inquisitive mind and a desire to promote innovation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Selfstarter with the ability to own broad feature areas independently
Willingness to work in a highlycollaborative environment where the belief is that great ideas can come from anywhere.
Professional experience with VueJS
or another modern JavaScript web framework (React, Angular, Ember, etc)
Experience with writing automated tests (eg. Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Mocha, AVA, tape)
Experience using Git in a professional/workplace environment
A solid understanding in core web and browser concepts (eg. how the browser parses and constructs a web page)
A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc
Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools and methodologies.
