_What is the job about?_


The
Process Engineer will be responsible of monitoring, stabilizing & improving the process development of the product manufacturing, process and actively support in all phases of new products introduction, and Projects defined by Management, as well as in the startup phases.

Responsible for execution and monitoring of VPC's. Responsible to execute CAPEX for process improvements.

This position reports directly to the Pump ́s Autonomous Production Unit Manager and will operate daily On-site in the San Luis Potosí facility in Mexico.


_Your main responsibilities:
_


Equipment and processes approval:

  • Analyze, adjust and select the most suitable manufacturing methods.
  • Support the processes for equipment selection and purchase.
  • Participate in the VPC execution for releasing and implementing new equipment, new products and processes changes in the production line.
  • Pokayoke implementation

Improvements to process performance (stability and quality):

  • Selection of tooling together with Manufacturing engineer.
  • Execute FTA, PPS and A3 projects with multidisciplinary teams related to Continuous Improvement of process performance indicators (FTT, Scrap, OPR).
  • Investment projects execution and follow up for process improvement
Process Documentation and Execution

  • Ensure all equipment and processes are according to parameters established.
  • Define standardized manufacturing process and set up sheets
  • Lead / Update PFMEA with PRL and Flow Chart
  • Maintenance to Work Instructions, Change of Model and other specific.
  • Plan training for Operators or Engineers based on the process (Flexibility Index).

EHS

  • Participate and collaborate in the activities related to comply with
    EHS programs, and procedures, as well as the achievement of its targets.

_Your background_

  • We imagine that you have:_
  • Industrial Engineer, Mechanic, Electrician, Electronic, Mechatronic or Related degree with 3 years of experience as an Engineer on the Industry.
  • High englishlanguage proficiency
  • SAP knowledge
  • Quality systems knowledge IS0 9001 &
    EHS system ISO 1400
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge
  • Problem solving tools knowledge
  • Drawing interpretation
