Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversity:
machining / forging / sheet metal / others, experience with supporting internal factories. They will also
ideally have experience in the following or similar types of industries: Controls, Industrial Equipment,
Automotive. Ideally they will know how to manage and track metals markets and relate raw material
pricing and market shifts to materials we purchase with metals content.
Other preferred criteria include brand labeling, SIOP experience, a background of managing multiple
direct material commodities globally, experience managing a global internal site structure, a successful
track record of managing commodities across the full product life-cycle from NPI through maturity, lead
and influenced cross-functional teams across design/operations/finance, managed suppliers in a variety
of markets including constrained supply, demonstrated market expertise including market analysis to
drive commodity strategies, a successful track record of managing suppliers at all levels of management
to achieve objectives, successfully managed and negotiated pricing globally.

This role will:
support development and implementation of the sourcing strategies to achieve lowest total
costs, improve working capital, drive effective asset management, achieve quality improvement, ensure
on-time delivery, improve cycle time, ensure early supplier involvement in product development.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Supplier quality and delivery escalations. Lead crossfunctional global teams to achieve key
objectives; Play active role in resolving critical quality and delivery issues with suppliers.
(Comprehensive ownership of supplier performance.)

  • Supplier relationship. Manage direct engagement with suppliers and internal functional teams globally
to drive implementation of the supply strategy and ensure success of the supply chain.

  • Support development and implementation of plans with cross functional partners to meet annual
goals which includes supplier strategy, productivity/cost-reduction, lead-time reductions,
consignment/Kan-ban implementation, working capital improvement, supplier quality, localization,
Growth and Capacity

  • Support: NPI mechanical team requirements, Escalations MOS for Delivery issues, PO confirmation,
price increase & MOQ, Invoice/Terms disputes, Automation and SUS compliance

  • Maintain supplier/purchasing master data in SAP/ERP

YOU MUST HAVE:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, purchasing or operations or related discipline.
  • 5 years of regional/global experience in Strategic Sourcing or related field.

  • Raw material (Casting, Machining, Sheet Metal, Forging, SIOP, plastics and/or electromechanical

WE VALUE:


  • MBA or other Master's degree preferred, emphasis in operations and supply chain preferred.
  • Experience in the following or similar industries: Controls, Industrial Equipment, Automotive.
  • Direct materials management experience for factories preferred.
  • Previous experience in global highmix manufacturing business
  • CIPS, APICs and/or CPM or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Experience in leading crossfunctional and sourcing teams with an emphasis on emerging regions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage / lead multiple projects and changing priorities.
  • Ability to work with, manage and influence all levels of Leadership.
  • Project management in accelerated environment
  • Ability to make datadriven decisions.
  • Successful use of decisionmaking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
