Position Summary:

Designer for automotive fluid transportation assemblies and components used in coolant and air conditioning Thermal Systems.

At least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
Solid knowhow in product design
English proficiency

Main Tasks:

1. Internal and external interface for product design topics.
2. Responsible for creating 3D models of assemblies and components, conducting packaging clearance checks within vehicle environment, conducting engine roll studies, and ensuring compliance to design standards.
3. Work with Application Engineer and Customer to develop solutions.
4. Generate 2D prints including GD&T
5. Interface with PLM system and support 2D & 3D release.
6. Conduct 3D tolerance studies.
7. Support design reviews / packaging studies.

Technical Experience:

Solid know how in NX, CATIA V5, and PDM systems (must be proficient in one software and willing to learn the other)
Ability to navigate OEM Teamcenter and work in vehicle packaging environment
