Team Overview:
As part of DiDi's research team you will make user life better by transforming their needs in business solutions which will generate brand preference, users experience and ultimately gains for the company

You will be able to become the voice of the users by gathering key Insights and tracking our brand health across the globe in order to help key stakeholders to take better decisions and guide business strategies


You should be able to transform complex concepts and data from diverse sources into clear and accessible communication, combining both quantitative and qualitative research in data analysis, also integrating this information with DiDi's Marketing, Safety Product and Operations strategy teams.

Act as an expert data owner with the capability of influencing and consulting stakeholders.


Role Responsibilities:

MONITOR AND BE IN ADVANCE OF MARKET MOVEMENTS:

  • Lead the Brand health tracking for one of our users audience in Latin America, Egypt and Australia working really close to all key stakeholders to provide them with relevant Information that supports business decision making.
  • Provide insights and scenarios for marketing and operations strategic planning, not only about communication and branding but also for pricing, promotions, new products, audiences and segments development
  • Bring relevant and crucial knowledge about our users finding opportunities to win on markets where we play, provide indepth analysis of the market, our industry and competitors
  • Develop benchmarks for communication, launches, business problems that will help markets to find synergies

CREATE A GLOBAL USER MINDSET-

  • Be perceived as the excellence in users and market understanding
  • Diagnostic and act on the OKRs that will move more the needle of the business.
  • Standardize key researches/ process (BHT, communication) and outputs to give us a clear comparison among the markets
  • Help the teams to set OKRs to be in advance of market movements.
  • Generate knowledge about users and our driving partners integrating research data with business data collected first hand and detect actionable opportunities.
  • Understand current and potential opportunities for brand image and product development
  • Recommend marketing targets according to historical data and support digital teams on media return understanding.

INCREASE USERS KNOWLEDGE:

  • Transform business questions into actionable opportunities through user understanding research
  • Propose ideal methodology to approach each of the problems
  • Agencies management

Role Qualifications:

  • Bachelor ́s degree Is required preferably in Marketing, administrative carreers, engineering or statistics
  • MBA or masters degree in data analitics is a plus
  • Solid professional experience in quantitative market research for at least 56 years and or expertise In research agencies (Like Kantar, IPSOS, GKF) with strong analytical background and research acumen (Having qualitative experience is a plus)
  • Proven experience in complex problem solving and the ability to recommend solutions that will contribute significantly to the business growth
  • Experience managing Brand Health tracker
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, critical thinking and passionate about understanding consumer's behavior
  • Strong communication skills and storytelling capabilities, and the ability to influence people in different areas of the company
  • Strong analytical capability and problem solving skills Able to connect different sources of Information to drive powerful Insights
  • Fluency in English Is required for this role
  • Experience managing market research agencies is a plus
