We're looking for a strong, creative communicator for our Tijuana, Mexico facility to develop, manage and measure local internal communications programs in alignment with our global internal communications strategy.

The Internal Communications Specialist will have responsibility for employee-facing communications in Tijuana.

He or she will advise and support the Tijuana leadership team on their communication programs; design and execute the local communications strategy and plan; and measure internal communication effectiveness.

This person will also work closely with the corporate Internal Communications team to ensure consistency and alignment with what is being shared across the company and influence Tijuana messaging to align with corporate messaging and corporate business objectives.


Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Communication Development and Support (60%)_
  • Develop and lead a communications strategy for Bose Tijuana that aligns to the business priorities.
  • Influence Tijuana messaging to align with corporate messaging and corporate business objectives in partnership with the Corporate Internal Communications department.
  • Influence our business in DIB topics and support ERG's activities in Tijuana.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador that ensures the proper use of written and visual branding in all the messages and materials created internally and externally in the plant. Partner with corporate to keep the plant updated on branding materials. Provide branding training as needed.
  • Advise leaders on how to communicate with teams and how to have effective team communication.
  • Advise the Tijuana leadership team on communications programs, organizational changes communication and general creation of messages for their department or all plant.
  • Implement measurable communications programs that drive the achievement of the Manufacturing goals and business objectives, in alignment with corporate principles, values and strategy.
  • Lead and develop change management communication strategies for relevant changes. Advise leadership on the use of change management communication plans.
  • Partner closely with staff managers to provide communications support for organizational changes and key employee engagement activities.
  • Develop engaging and effective communication processes, tools, and channels to guide internal customers.
  • Tactical Communication Development and Deployment (40%)_
  • Regularly develop and share compelling content alongside with internal customers both locally and globally, using the appropriate channels.
  • Supervise the correct use of local communication channels.
  • Manage content and presentations for our allemployee meetings.
  • Regularly gather feedback that enables continuous adjustment of communication processes, tools and channel mix.
  • Coordinate the activities of the communications committee, visual materials design and vendors, video graphic material and vendors

Qualifications:


  • At least 5 years' experience implementing internal communications plans and programs with clear and measurable business impact
  • Strong writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English
  • Proven experience with advising senior leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and solve problems
  • Strong project management skills ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to thrive in a complex global organization
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Yammer
  • Experience with HTML/CSS, video editing, and graphic design highly desired
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and/or accreditation desired
