CONTEXT / SCOPE- Diageo Mexico has multiplied the Sales (volume) two times in the last five years, our growth projection is to double the business into the next 5 years- Innovation plays a meaningful role in this growth, we have clear vision of being recognized as #1 Recruitment Omnichannel Machine (On, Off, E-commerce).- Diageo has a proven position as market leader, we want to strength our leadership not only in whisky category but expand our relevance and value creation strategy through Innovation in other categories such as vodka, gin, malts etc.

INNOVATION IN DIAGEO- Innovation has become a priority in business performance and a critical growth driver in Diageo- We must guarantee big and adventurous Omnichannel execution plans identifying consumer, customer and category opportunities in order to improve Innovation- Through Innovation be responsible to generate relevant contributions improving margin to the company and be seen as benchmark

MARKET COMPLEXITY- With a continuous +20% innovation sales growth, with more than 2 Launch projects, we must ensure to recruit and re-recruit consumers to spirits category- New and bigger competitors, limited on-shelf space, new trends, new ways of consumption, new eras, new behaviours are arriving, and we must be agile to respond through Innovation- Critical metrics Targets such as ROS, Sell In, Sell Out, Sell Through, Inventories, margins must be accomplished to be listed in some customers- Regionalization has been taking relevance and the understating of geographical execution model it's an industry differentiation- Our challenge is to build the best Innovation Model in the industry being compared with others big CPG ́s


PURPOSE OF ROLE- Able to analyse information (sales, margins, inventories, RSP, elasticity, areas behaviours, predict future trends, red stops) to generate deep insights therefore solutions- Analyse Innovation plans & initiatives to achieve annual targets (NSV, AOP, Margin, Sell Out, Market Share)- Lead and administrate the Internal TI TOOL (Trade Investment Tool) to register and control all the activities carried out with our client.

- Maintain key collaborators aware of Innovation news under customer, client & category, understanding and help all sales team to sale- Follow up of every 365E and Sales Driver execution plan of our Innovation pipeline- Transform Innovation becoming benchmark by changing the way we "do" Innovation in Diageo


TOP ACCOUNTABILITIES- Analytic profile to generate insights, conclusion and recommendations by data analysis- Highly organized & able to prioritize, so we guarantee every day phenomenal execution in all Innovation Plans- Drive & Accountability to guarantee all partners responsible for Innovation plan execution (EDGE)- Responsible for looking for opportunities to increase Diageo's Innovation brands sell out & market share.

- Ensure to support excellent execution of all Sales Drivers & 365 Essentials per channel per client


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- Bachelor degree- Proficient office package management mainly Excel (create reports & analysis)- Field Sales Experience (ideal).- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Demonstrate proactivity, initiative and determination- Balance priorities accuratelyy.- Financial understanding.- Proficient English.


FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES-UNDERSTAND THE COMMERCIAL OPPORTUNITY: Demonstrate understanding of market, category, customer and shopper needs to generate growth for Diageo Brands & Customers.

-ANALYZE STRATEGY AND PLAN EXECUTION: Proactively tracks plans execution, generate insights and relevant information to collaborators ensuring Innovations success

  • M&E:
Clear understanding of internal and external metrics measuring and evaluating the results to have a clear Start - Stop & Continue recommendation of Innovation pipeline plans & punctual activities

  • MANAGE PERFORMANCE:
Works well within own commercial team and related functions to deliver performance goals.
