- Ensure the consistent and adequate supply of product necessary for the business, based on lead times and sales forecasts.
- Correspond and communicate with suppliers for any updates regarding orders and/or products.
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure product meets specifications and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with suppliers and partners.
- Lead Weekly Production meeting to review all incoming shipments and product needs.
- Monitor and maintain acceptable inventory business wide.
- Coordinates and manages physical cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
- Collaborate with operations and sales teams to research and identify inventory discrepancies, in a timely manner.
- Thorough understanding of purchasing, warehousing, and inventory control
- Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently into SAP system.
- Ability to work effectively with others and be participative as a team player.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, industrial engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain management, purchasing, inventory control, or a related field.
- Automotive/Metal Mechanic industry experience preferred.
- SAP experience.
