    THE OPPORTUNITY

    Data-driven decision-making is at the heart of modern business, but managing and processing data at scale can be a complex and time-consuming task. Our AI-powered ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) application simplifies data workflows, enabling organizations to extract insights faster, automate repetitive tasks, and unlock the true potential of their data.

    As a QA Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our application. You will be responsible for identifying issues, improving processes, and ensuring that our users have a seamless experience. Your contributions will directly influence the trust our users place in our platform.

    THE TEAM

    You'll collaborate with a remote, cross-functional team of QA analysts, software engineers, designers, and product managers. Together, we're dedicated to revolutionizing ELT operations through the power of AI, user-focused design, and robust quality assurance practices.

    WHAT YOU BRING

    Technical Skills:

    • Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies, including manual testing.
    • Familiarity with QA tools such as JIRA or Postman.
    • Basic understanding of REST APIs and database testing.
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
    • B2 level English or higher is required.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    Testing and Quality Assurance:

    • Perform manual testing to validate new features and bug fixes.
    • Validate API responses and test database interactions to ensure system reliability.
    • Identify, document, and prioritize bugs in JIRA or similar tools.
    • Re-test fixed defects and perform regression testing before releases.

    Process Improvement:

    • Contribute to refining the QA process by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting improvements.
    • Stay updated on the latest QA trends and tools to improve testing practices.

    FIRST 30 DAYS: GETTING STARTED

    • Familiarize yourself with the product, team structure, and development workflow.
    • Understand the testing framework and review existing test cases and reports.
    • Start testing minor features and logging bugs to learn the system.
    • Participate in team meetings and shadow senior QA analysts during test planning sessions.

    FIRST 60 DAYS: BUILDING MOMENTUM

    • Take ownership of writing and executing test cases for small features or modules.
    • Collaborate with the development team to test more complex features and identify potential edge cases.
    • Present your findings in sprint demos and collaborate with the product management team to refine testing requirements.

    FIRST 90 DAYS: HITTING YOUR STRIDE

    • Lead the QA effort for a feature or module, including test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
    • Provide feedback to the team on onboarding processes and identify areas for improvement in QA workflows.

    • This role requires employees to work within Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours. While we are open to candidates from outside the EST time zone, please be prepared to adjust your working hours to align with this time zone.
