- Experiment and optimize: Within 6 weeks, launch an experiment that reduces first-payment defaults with minimal impact on approvals.
- Cap catastrophic risk: Within 4 months, design and implement controls that dramatically reduce the risk of large-scale acquisition or transaction fraud.
- Professionalize fraud ops with AI: Within 7 months, build a repeatable fraud intelligence system combining human review, automated workflows, and AI agents to detect, escalate, and prevent fraud in real time.
- Have a background in consumer lending fraud analytics, ideally LATAM-focused, with experience in first-payment default, acquisition fraud, or programmatic attacks
- Are fluent in SQL and data science, capable of building robust fraud models and conducting independent analyses
- Are interested in designing and operationalizing AI tools, agents, or workflows (Claude, LangChain, or other automation frameworks) to scale intelligence without replacing analytical rigor
- Combine paranoia with pragmatism — you worry about unseen threats, but you know how to act fast even without perfect infrastructure
- Communicate effectively with founders, analytics teams, and operations to translate insights into action
