Education:

a) Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science, Safety and/or related field preferred or 5 years of work experience in a Sustainability role (with responsibility for 3 or more sites)

b) Minimum of 5 years work experience in an automotive production environment.

c) Experience proficiently managing sustainability, environmental, governmental and regulatory requirements for multiple sites.

Position Scope:

This role leads our global strategy for installation of a robust culture relative to sustainability activities and requirements.
The ESG (Global Sustainability Manager) responsibility of this role is to monitor, guide and ingrain a global sustainability strategy/culture across all organization sites.
The ESG serves as the point of contact between external and internal organization locations related to associated activities.
Oversees and holds amenability for preparation, implementation, followup and filing of internal and external environmental audits and certifications (including but not limited to: M2030, CDP, EcoVadis, NQC, LWG, Social Responsibility, ISO 14001 and the like).
The ESG gathers data, ensure integrity and accuracy of information, generates reports and provides information to the Global Quality Director or designee as required.
The ESG serves as a pivotal conduit between customer/governmental/regulatory requirements and our internal activities.
