    You will design and develop new ideas and solutions for new product development as well as current products modification and improvements based on in-service issues and market strategy.

    You are responsible for design and implementation of mechanical parts, subassemblies and product improvements

      Mech Design Engr IITo be located at Honeywell Aerospace Chihuahua, this Honeywell Aerospace Materials Engineering position will provide support for new and existing products including aerospace gas turbine engines used for propulsion and auxiliary power.
    Primary responsibilities include support for materials and processes involved in the design and manufacture of parts.

    Key requirements of the role will be the ability to interface directly with suppliers and providesupport with production troubleshooting on different special process issues.


    Responsibilities include:

    specification maintenance, process documentation, approval of suppliers and forging componentsconducting maintenance audits to ensure specification and process compliancesupport determination of Root Cause and Corrective Action associated with process escapesidentification of producibility opportunities and cost reduction
