    Our client, a Global automotive industry leader, has requested us to search for two Product Engineers to oversee the division's Product Data Management (PDM) for their manufacturing facilities in Reynosa, Tamps.
    SUMMARYCreate, update, and maintain TeamCenter attribute-based search functions for products and populate associated required system content.
    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Review and occasionally update established detailed Guidelines for PDM product attribute requirements.
    • Read dimensional attributes of the key features from the provided engineering drawings for automotive components.
    • Log the attribute information into the PLM system and coordinate with Application Engineering and Design for product release.
    • Longer term responsibilities will also include supporting and structuring enhancements to the system attributes.

    Skill Requirements:


    • Regular and predictable attendance.
    • Ability to manage program events to ensure ontime completion of tasks.
    • Ability to formulate and implement solutions for product attributebased search functions.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with Engineering Team members in Mexico and Auburn Hills, Michigan.
    • Selfdirected with a high degree of self motivation.
    • Proficient computer skills and abilities with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
    • Experience with Siemens PLM or other PLM system interface is preferred but not mandatory.
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

    Requirements:


    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PPT
    • Ability to read engineering prints/drawings experience not mandatory but must be willing to learn
    • Ability to follow provided directions and plans effectively.
    • Ability to work with a group or independently.
    • Associates degree or equivalent in business systems training is preferred but not necessary. 2 years experience working in an administrative/ engineering automotive environment.
