JOB SUMMARY
Experienced analyst with a deep knowledge of payments industry standards and best practices, with a good understanding of customer specific business and customer facing skills.
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) involves extensive customer interaction and service and acts as a focal point for customers and internal teams/services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interact with client, consultatively, to determine project requirements and needs analysis.
- Establish and/or assist client with configuring system parameters and controls based on client's business practices and processes; recommend best practices; review setup with clients and gain client acceptance.
- Provide onsite or remote support during client conversions as applicable.
- Test and troubleshoot system configuration and functionality.
- Follow established project, departmental, company procedures and quality standards.
- Business support to delivery teams throughout the entire software implementation process and after.
- Provide accurate and consistent statuses and reporting on different levels.
- Deep knowledge of GPP products line.
- Deep knowledge of Finastra software delivery and implementation procedures and relevant methodologies.
- Writing internal 'Howto' guides, training materials, and enduser documentation
GENERAL PROFILE:
- Requires indepth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
- Solves complex problems; exercises judgement based on the analysis of multiple sources of information (e.g. oversight of data aggregation, leadership of client implementation processes, etc.).
- Works independently, receives mínimal guidance.
- Impacts a range of client, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams typically has end to end accountability for assigned processes or products.
- Seasoned professional" level at which career may stabilize for many years.
- Has indepth payments industry knowledge and expertise working with FedWires, Swift, Nacha and TCH Payments.
- Understands regulatory changes and support clients in preparation and implementation of such changes.
- Understands how their own area integrates with others to deliver results
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgement based on the analysis of multiple sources of information and structures key tradeoff decisions.
5 years of experience writing business requirements and functional specifications in the Transaction Banking / Banking industry.
Demonstrated success in implementing projects in a cross functional team environment.
Education / Certifications
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Business analyst certification is a plus.
Clearing certification is a plus.
Proficient in English. All interactions are in English.
The base salary for this position is in the range of $55,000 to $60,000 MX pesos gross salary + legal benefits.
