    Legal counsel focusing on reviewing the legal aspect of FX, Derivatives and Money market transactions for all commercial, corporate and institutional clients including drafting, reviewing and negotiating local Repo, OTC and Mexder derivative agreements and/or confirmations and security documents related thereto.

    Coverage includes all jurisdictions in Latam, Central America & the Caribbean where the BNS or the local subsidiary conduct capital markets business (including Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Perú, Brazil, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Panama, DR, Jamaica)

    • Act as the client RM in the region in relation to hedging documentation including the financing documents, procedures, regulation and market trends
    • Participate in marketing efforts, help establish priorities in the pipeline, explain complex terms, communicate credit terms, lead the discussion on the T&C of ISDA Checklist with banking and product
    • Discuss with GRM and Risk Management credit documentation terms and make recommendations
    • Review and comment on loan agreements, intercreditor agreements, security documents and other financing documents in the context of the hedging transaction
    • Discuss local legal and regulatory issues as may be required
    • Organize and coordinate the follow-up weekly pipeline country calls and attend and participate in other Latam group calls.
