We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a
System Administrator

Responsibilities:

Perform regular patch management activities for servers and systems in the data center, including planning, testing, and deploying patches.
Install and configure monitoring agents on servers, network devices, and other infrastructure components to ensure comprehensive visibility and proactive monitoring.
Manage and maintain the monitoring infrastructure, including monitoring tools, dashboards, and alerting mechanisms.
Monitor system logs, performance metrics, and other relevant data to identify potential issues or anomalies.
Respond to monitoring alerts promptly and investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex system and network problems.
Develop and maintain documentation related to systems administration, including installation procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
Stay up to date with the latest technologies, best practices, and industry trends in systems administration, data center operations, and monitoring.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role, preferably in a data center environment.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration, including patching and security best practices.
Experience with installing and configuring monitoring agents and tools
Familiarity with data center infrastructure components, including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and storage systems.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation and task simplification.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
Detailoriented, with strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
