In a 24/7 operation, review cases reported to the Emergency Assistance Department and take the necessary steps to assist customers in addition to managing costs for the organization.

Accountable for the overall investigation and decision making of cases up to an approved authority level. Required to attain performance objectives on a monthly basis.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Conduct daily monitoring of hospitalized patients and/or outpatient care, updating notes and keeping
records of decisions in computer system.

  • Secure Medical Consultant's or Registered Nurse's assessment of medical information.
  • Provide approvals for defined procedures and liaises with medical team as required.
  • Liaise with patient and/or family regarding benefit information (incl. LOB), itinerary, technical benefits and arrangements for the case.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:


  • BA degree or Highschool diploma
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and multitask.
  • Superb verbal communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate professionally and articulately via phone with clients and colleagues.
  • Experience in the Emergency Assistance Department is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative and independent judgment in solving customer problems.
  • Proven ability to showcase a high level of accountability and ownership over a task.
  • Good understanding of world geography and current events.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
  • Fluency in French or Spanish is preferred.
We offer:


Monthly salary of $18,000 MXN before taxes + $1,400 MXN in food coupons + 2 days off a week + law benefits + health insurance + major medical expenses insurance + saving fund + $2,000 MXN in performance bonus.

Work location:

On site - CDMX/Benito Juárez.
