Eaton's FFD Fluid Filtration Division is currently seeking a EHS Technician.

Job Summary: This position provides environmental, health, safety, and security leadership to the site. The successful candidate will direct EHS activities at their location(s), establish EHS objectives and targets, and ensure compliance with national, area, and local regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development, maintenance, and achievement of goals in support of corporate and business group EHS strategic initiatives.
• Facilitate risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects.
• Track performance against targets and objectives.
• Support creation of EHS goals for the site manager and functional managers.
• Drive and promote zero incident EHS culture throughout the site.
• Create and facilitate EHS engagement through EHS teams and committees.
• Work with leadership team and MESH element champions to complete an annual evaluation of compliance for EHS country, state, and local regulations.
• Pursue third-party recognition for programs that establish the site and Eaton's EHS program as world-class.
• Provide training for the completion of the training matrix.
• Work with site leadership team and facilities to ensure key EHS operational controls are in place.
• Perform activities according to the Quality and Environmental policies established by the business.

Requirements:

• Environmental and Safety Engineering or similar degree.
• 1 to 3 years of experience as EHS Engineer in manufacture industry.

Skills:

• Knowledge of Mexican regulatory laws.
• Bilingual Spanish - English proficiency.
• Adept at utilizing company-wide system for reporting EHS data and information.
• Strong team-building skills, strong organizational skills.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
