About this opportunity


We are now looking for a senior leader to go through your early engagement in Partner with Sales / Operation organizations, you will drive higher value contribution from third party deliveries to business.

Category strategies and preferred supplier lists shall be endorsed through active participation in strategic Sales and product/project forums, constant communication on the strategy together with the Strategic Sourcing Managers and Categories responsible including business and product decision meetings should be leaded.


The Sourcing Partner shall promote new business ideas that are based on optimized value extraction through collaboration from third parties and Ericsson supplier base, other business benchmarking and Sourcing strategies.

You will also be accountable for the Sourcing contribution of business opportunity or concept to delivering on Stakeholder expectations.

  • Conspire and commit to Partnering with the business
  • Be an advisor and dedicated to partner engagement
  • Inspire business ideas, strategies & PSL
  • Hold sourcing responsible for profitability
  • Optimize Sourcing performance targets
  • Back & support M&A sourcing projects
  • Ensure that Ericsson gets the best Cost possible.
  • Stakeholder management to optimize our cost base. Understanding of stakeholder targets and challenge them to increase profitability.
  • Bestinclass category strategies including benchmarking, detailed market analysis, commercial modelling, risk analysis and mitigation and forwardlooking sourcing plans. The strategies should accommodate the needs of all respective Business Areas and Ericsson customers as applicable.
  • Build/ Lead a positive and productive work environment for your organization and functional area.

You will bring

  • Education: Min Degree at least in Business Administration, Business Management, Economics
  • 10+ Years' experience in Procurement / Telco business.
  • Commercial and Technical experience
  • Experience from influencing sales and sales operations
  • Demonstrates superlative sourcing skills and with that the ability to positively challenge the team throughout their work.
