Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing cost and general accounting support for monthly close process, budgeting, cost analysis, maintenance of accurate bill of materials and may be responsible for balance sheet reconciliation.

Responsible for preparation of reports for financial position in areas of income, expense and other parts of the operation, and facilitation of real time reporting for the plant's piece price, tooling, capital, timing and internal resources.

Responsible for Weekly Flash and Monthly Forecast reporting-offal forecast, P&L account forecast.
Responsible for reporting weekly variance analysis for material, labor, subcontract, burden, method and freight. Correct all issues and report summary findings to Controller and Plant Manager.

Responsible for maintenance of QAD standard cost system including bill of materials (BOM) accuracy, annual standard cost changes and engineering changes.

Responsible for cost and variance analysis for production and MRO inventory.
Responsible for monthly analysis and reporting of plant spending and cost reduction projects.
Provide plant input into quoting and business development activities (ex. pricing, program management, plant capacity, etc.)
Assist Operations Department with cost savings analysis for continuous improvement projects.
Assist with annual budget preparation, journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliation. - Direct and/or participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities (ex. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.).
Assist with plant activities to achieve quality, productivity and cost reduction goals.
Responsible for adhering to all internal and OSHA required safety procedures in performing daily work activities.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the plant.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
Assures compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations and laws. Assists with the creation of acceptable standards in Finance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, Master's Degree preferred.
Minimum of six (6) years experience with financial/manufacturing systems.
