Required Qualifications:

- Business Level English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
College degree in accounting or related coursework
Working knowledge of bookkeeping, recordkeeping, and clerical reporting procedures
Familiarity with Great Plains and online banking functionality is a plus
Previous collections experience

Job Description:

Are you ready to take your first step into the world of accounting as an Entry Level Accounting Specialist at Hermosillo-based? Join our dynamic Accounting/Finance Team and make your mark in the field of finance Here's what you'll be doing:

Responsibilities:

Handling invoicing for our large customers: You'll be responsible for processing invoices for our significant clients.
Researching and reconciling accounts for adjustments and discrepancies: You'll investigate and resolve any discrepancies due to variations in credits or payments.
Preparing, maintaining, and reviewing accounts before entry into the general ledger: You'll ensure that all accounts are accurate and uptodate.
Communicating effectively with Account Executives, Account Managers, Agencies, and customers: You'll be in regular contact with these stakeholders.
Assisting with internal quarterly audits: You'll play a role in conducting internal audits with our partner agencies.
Reviewing and disputing chargebacks with merchant banks: You'll address any issues related to chargebacks.
Monitoring the Accounts Receivable (A/R) aging report and making collection calls/letters: You'll oversee overdue accounts and initiate collection processes.
Collaborating with the team to resolve accounting discrepancies: You'll work together with your colleagues to resolve any accounting issues.
Preparing journal entries in the accounting system: You'll be responsible for recording financial transactions accurately.
