    Position Purpose

    - The Production Supervisor provides leadership and direction to the Operators under their charge, optimizes day-to-day operations of the department, monitors and controls KPIs under their charge (Safety, Quality, Scrap, Schedule Accomplishment, Productivity, Absenteeism, Quality and OEE)

    Requirements

    - Fluent English - advanced.- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or similar career (certificated).- Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Experience in fast paced Automated assembly or Bearing assembly (preferred).- Available to change shifts.- Availability to move to the option park, San José Iturbide

    Main Responsibilities

    - Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures.
    - Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, developing personal growth opportunities.
    - Maintains a safe work environment for employees and holds associates accountable to following safe work practices.
    - Ensures that all products manufactured by their team follow approved process control plans and meet or exceed Timken Quality expectations.
    - Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; rigorously enforcing work Standards settings processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points, initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
    - Completes production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel: accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
    - Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
    - Actively identifies and implements continuous improvements activities.
    - Ensures operations of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
    - Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
