    Job DescriptionProvide support for products as they transition into series products.

    Responsible to resolve electronic component issues that arise due to technical changes from suppliers or issues in the production assembly line.

    Responsible to manage PCNs (part change notices) and PTNs (part termination notices) for automotive body electronics products in North America, including an initial analysis for affected projects.

    Responsible for own detailed component analysis for Component analysis includes: comparing datasheet electrical characteristics changes, schematic/design impacts, and customer acceptance.

    Responsible to develop electrical comparison for customer approval, when required.
    Responsible to develop test plans, get test plan approval, and perform testing to validate component changes.
    Provide risk assessments when components are out of specifications.
    Responsible to support warranty colleagues in electrical questions
    Responsible for creating and working through engineering changes to closure. If engineering changes are not possible, then responsible to lead concession efforts.
    Provide miscellaneous hardware support to automotive body electronics team in Plymouth, MI (USA).
    Responsible to learn and become proficient in Bosch hardware engineering development tools.
    Responsible to develop a network of colleagues within Bosch and at the customer.
    Responsible to set up and perform bench tests, as needed, with no supervision.
    Responsible to support new development team in pre-series plant activities.

    QualificationsEducation:
    Bachelor's Degree Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering Technology

    Working Experience:
    Minimum 2 years of electrical engineering experience
    Experience with electronic circuit design and some worst case circuit analysis experience.
    Experience with electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes.

    Skills:
    Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team.
    Ability to manage tasks on own with no oversight while meeting established deadlines.
    Ability to make decisions based on facts.

    Abilities:
    Must have experience with electronic lab equipment to create and run tests, with documentation via test reports.
    Must have experience designing circuits and/or applying circuits.

    Must be able to effectively communicate with engineering team in Plymouth, MI (USA), manufacturing team, purchasing, logistics team members, and end customers (located in USA).

    Preferred experience with automotive microcontrollers, power devices, CAN communication, and radio frequency devices.
