    This position is in the Smart Factory show case plant driving continuous improvement automatization projects and achieving smart factory Minimum Mandatory Requirements (MMR) across to the E2E at the plant.

    This position is accountable for implementing continuous improvement via digital transformation, throughout Schneider Electric Methodology.

    More specifically, this Automation Engineer will be tasked with deployment of 4IR technologies adopted as the core of the Smart Factory toolset.

    The Smart Factory toolset consists of standard hardware/software tools encompassing IIoT, Cloud, Mobility, and Analytics.

    An Automation Engineer tasks may consist of the following:


    • Process improvement through digital transformation
    • Assess machine / process and define required digital modifications. Sensor additions, IIoT architecture / network requirements
    • PLC modifications,
    • Innovation
    • Innovative technology POC
    • Research new 4IR technologies (AR/VR, 5G, AI, etc.)
    • Define use case and success metrics
    • Implement and report findings Qualifications We are looking for an engineer with 5 years in Manufacturing Field with strong background in automatization that may include: Experience in design, programming and implementation of control and automation systems. Knowledge of PLCs, HMI/SCADA, distributed control systems (DCS) and industrial networks. Ability to develop and modify automation software Relevant experience preferred 3-5 years Schedule: Full-time
