Tasks and Qualifications:


Essential Role and Responsibilities
To be successful in this demanding role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following key performance areas:

  • Responsible for implementing part or all of the solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed Functional design
  • Responsible for successful implementation of SAP, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients
  • Knowledge and experience of intercompany processes in SAP
  • Design and implement core functionalities of SAP GL, AA, COPC, COPA, Revenue recognition, Credit Management, Cost center Management, Billing and Material Ledger
  • Facilitates the gathering of requirements, designing, implementing and supporting SAP FICO to enhance the clients' business functionality and performance
  • Configure the SAP system in the areas of SAP FI CO to meet the requirements collected during blueprinting work sessions
  • Participates in meetings and build trust with internal business customers, understand business objectives and seeks alignment
  • Engage with Key Users and Business partners to identify and validate requirements and translate to solution design
  • Analyzes and develops functional specifications and communicates to technical developers in order to develop the required solutions in the most efficient way
  • Monitor and present periodic status to stakeholders
  • Monitor Risks / Issues and prepare appropriate mitigation plans
  • Ensure best practices are followed and required processes and specifications are documented

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP Finance and Controlling Module required
  • Should have experience working in at least 2 S/4HANA Implementation projects
  • Strong functional knowledge on the SAP GL, AA, COPC, COPA, and overall SAP functional knowledge (integration with other components / modules) required
  • Experience working on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Intercompany Accounting, Project System, Management Accounting
  • Understanding the integration with various SAP modules like MM,QM, CO, PP, PM, WM, SD and FI
  • Should be able to write functional specs and work with technical team on enhancements, user exits
  • Will be required to prepare instruction manuals and training material for end user training
  • Should have experience and should be able to give solutions for business requirements and guide the team on data migration
  • Should have experience preparing data migration templates
  • Should have experience in data extracting, cleansing, and uploading the data.
  • Should have good experience in working with global teams
  • Ability to conduct/lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with clients on small to medium sized engagements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Strategic thinking and thought leadership capabilities; ability to institutionalize new tools, processes, and technologies
  • Knowledge of implementation project life cycles including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover and golive support
  • Proficient using Project Management tools (JIRA), preparing and presenting appropriate status reports

  • SAP Finance and Controlling with S/4HANA Implementation Experience
  • Must be able to fluently communicate in English

  • Resultsoriented and demonstrated experience in leading work sessions with multiple stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% in US and EMEA
Education & Experience

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
