Responsibility:

Engagement Shaping

  • Ensure outcomes are SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely).
  • Ensure Cognizant's role in achieving the desired outcomes is well understood and agreed upon by all parties.

  • Ensure that all work taken on by PODs/teams is focused on, aligned with, and contributing to one or more of the engagement themes.
  • Establish an initialstate delivery operating model for the PODs/teams is wellaligned with the client operating model.
  • Identify risks, impacts, and proposed mitigation actions for the initial state delivery operating model in terms of possible effect on quality, efficiency, and efficacy.
  • Rationalize the themes, desired outcomes, and expected timelines with the initialstate operating model and projected ability to continuously improve/mature the model to ensure they are realistic in the overall context.
  • Ensure delivery execution for each POD/team conforms to an established, agreedupon, and continuously maturing operating model.
  • Engagement Management.
  • Ensure talent is available at the right time to deliver on the engagement plan.
  • Ensure talent that is no longer needed for the engagement is released from the project in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate and manage weekly status cadence among team leaders.
  • Prepare & publish regular status report and publish for internal review.
  • Prepare & facilitate monthly status report for senior client leaders and publish for internal review.
  • Ensure the right talent with the right skills is available at the right time and executing according to an agreedupon operating model.

  • Ensure correct tools, frameworks, patterns and best practices are utilized.
  • Ensure Cost of Delivery targets are met.
  • Ensure contractual & financial commitments are met.
  • Track and guide continuous improvement of digital maturity for discovery, delivery, and engineering practices.
  • Conduct regular reviews of product testing program to ensure conformance with best practices and enterprise standards.
  • Anticipate risks and delivery issues to proactive address.
  • Ensure clear transparent communication internally & with the client.
  • Data Collection & Reporting.
  • Collect execution performance data from engagement to ensure all SLA, KRA/KPI and client requirements are tracked, trended and actioned.
  • Cognizant Growth.
  • Identify and relay to Cognizant leadership (account, GTM, community)opportunities and ideas for Cognizant to help the client improve efficiency & efficacy gain competitive advantage, or create/unlock new/additional business value.
  • Community Leadership.

  • Community Mentorship.
  • Guide and mentor Engg Managers & POD leaders how to govern continuous improvement for digital maturity and conduct quality analysis and testing program reviews.
  • Guide and mentor Engg Managers & POD leaders on how to engage with clients, handle escalation, and govern engagement.
  • Focus on soft skills/ communication skills in additional to technical.
  • Engage with a mentor to continue ongoing growth.
  • Community Contributions.
  • Contribute to community programs by working on one or more program committees.
  • Contributions include, but not limited to refining processes, building automation, establishing tools.
  • Learn, adapt & comply with community best practices.
  • Recruiting and developing talent (internal/external).

  • Provide presales support for client briefings, engagement shaping, and RFP responses.

  • Author, edit, or publish articles, case studies, or other artifacts that help to establish Cognizant as a thought leader and trusted expert in digital delivery.
