- Define and implement the company's technology vision and roadmap Evaluate and integrate new technologies to drive innovation growth Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology with business strategy Represent technology in board meetings investor discussions Team Management & Culture Recruit develop retain top-tier engineering technical talent Foster a high-performance collaborative inclusive engineering culture Establish clear objectives KPIs for technology teams Product Engineering Execution Lead development deployment scaling of our technology platforms Oversee software architecture infrastructure DevOps QA practices Ensure on-time high-quality delivery of technology initiatives Security Compliance Risk Management Ensure systems data secure compliant resilient Oversee risk assessment disaster recovery planning Stay current industry regulations best practices Cross Functional Collaboration Partner product marketing operations customer support teams Translate business needs into technical solutions Bridge communication between technical teams non-technical stakeholders Qualifications Proven experience as Senior Manager Director VP Engineering similar leadership role 10+ years software engineering systems architecture IT leadership Deep understanding scalable architecture cloud platforms software development life cycle SDLC Track record building managing high-performing tech teams Strong knowledge cybersecurity data privacy compliance Excellent communication leadership decision-making skills Bachelor's or master's degree computer science Engineering related field Or equivalent experience Preferred Experience Familiarity Agile Lean methodologies DevOps practices Major Northstar architecture Experience Fintech Banking Automotive industries Start-up or high-growth environment experience GM Financial is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed diversity inclusion at every level organization That We do not discriminate against any applicant employee based race color age gender marital status national origin religion sexual orientation gender identity expression veteran status disability impair people rights freedoms
