    DESCRIPTION of a Facilities Technician role at HARMAN Automotive.

    Job Description

    As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the facilities and utilities of our building, ensuring that they are in good working order and meet the needs of our employees and operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Follow-up on tasks commissioned by the supervisor to ensure timely completion.
    • Cleaning assistant monitoring in assigned areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Participates in the development and programming of preventive and predictive maintenance schedules and executes them to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
    • Supervise technical services to ensure that work is carried out safely and efficiently.
    • Supervising work orders of clients to meet their expectations and resolve any issues promptly.
    • Responsible for the safety of work carried out by installation technicians, providing necessary permits and ensuring compliance with regulations.
    • Validate the work done to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
    • Carry out work with high quality and safety, adhering to company policies and procedures.
    • Answer emergency calls on communication equipment and respond promptly to incidents.
    • Inform daily to the supervisor on work done and pending for the day.
    • Report any risk situation in building equipment to the relevant personnel.
    • Anticipate the purchase of spare parts for equipment under load to minimize downtime.
    • Follow up on material purchase requisitions to ensure timely delivery.
    • Responsible for making regular tours to review the conditions of the building and identify areas for improvement.
    • Be on time for preventive maintenance of building equipment to prevent breakdowns.
    • Participates and provides support related to quality and EHSS systems management, objectives, targets, and programs.

    Requirements

    To succeed in this role, you will need:

    • Leadership, Integrity, Innovation, Inclusion, Teamwork & Respect, Excellence.
    • 05 years minimum experience verifiable, as facilities technician or facilities leader.
    • Experience in a Manufacturing Industry.
    • Availability of time.
    • Understanding of electronic, hydraulic, Mechanicals and cooling system.
    • Knowledge in Medium Voltage, Electrical Installations, Pneumatics.
    • Knowledge in electrical substations.
    • Residence in areas close to the company.
    • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electric, electronic systems schematics, and technical manuals.
    • Chiller and water treatment experience.
    • Molding Machines basic conditions and installations.
    • High school or technical career in mechanics, electromechanics, electrical.
