Oracle Database Administrator (

ACTIVITIES:

Provision, configure, and maintain Oracle Cloud databases, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.
Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Implement and maintain database backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
Plan and execute database migrations and upgrades.
Collaborate with development teams to optimize database schema and SQL queries.
Implement and enforce database security policies and procedures.
Manage database user accounts, access controls, DB Links, Sched Jobs,
Stay current with Oracle Cloud technologies and best practices.
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
Document database configurations, processes, and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in a Cloud Environment.
Proficiency in Oracle Database technologies, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Database, Oracle RAC, and Oracle Data Guard.
Strong understanding of database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security best practices in a cloud environment.
Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python).
Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Experience with Microsoft Azure

PLUS skills (not a must, only desirable):

Oracle certifications e.g., Oracle Certified Professional
