Job Requirements

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Conceptualizes, designs and leads adoption of a flexible integration architecture for Claims IT that reduces current integration complexity and enables more agile rollout of functionality and business solutions.
Provides architecture leadership and direction on Agile teams implementing Claims solutions, which includes the responsibility to build and manage architecture runways on Agile projects.
Designs robust automation solutions that are secure, scalable and flexible.
Assists with resolution of technical problems and validates the software architecture against requirements and assumptions.
Mentor and guide junior architects and technical leads on projects and other initiatives.
Engages and enables relevant architecture governance processes and conducts design reviews.
Delivers conceptual and highlevel designs that align with architecture direction and meet business needs, incorporating appropriate input from various platform specialists and domain experts.

Work Experience

Technical Experience and Competencies:

Demonstrated practical experience with utilizing Cloud platforms for business solutions for scalability and flexibility.
Experience with Azure integration and analytics stacks would be a strong plus.
Practical experience and strong knowledge of middleware platforms for services integration, service orchestration and business rules. BizTalk, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus and RedHat Decision Manager preferred. Certifications in any of these technology stacks would be a plus.
Experience with investigating and preferably implementing innovative technologies such as IoT, Voicetotext, chatbots etc.
Experience with guiding and mentoring technical leads on projects.

Partnership and Team Work

Good communication and leadership. Must be able to interact with business users and provide guidance and feedback to technical resources (including contract resources) as well as managers.
Demonstrate strong ability to work in a team environment with the ability to influence and foster crossteam and crossarea collaboration.
Work with other tech leads and other architects to ensure alignment with architecture strategy escalating deviation as needed.
