The main responsibilities include:

• Lead &, supervise all cost accounting activities
• Monthly and quarterly closing, reporting, and consolidation activities, local head of accounting
• Participate in quotes and negotiations with important clients and stakeholders
• Ensure the reasonableness of the financial information according MX and Corporate (USA) Standards
• Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies &, procedures
• Formulate short, medium, and long term financial and strategic plans
• Partners with manufacturing &, operation teams to continuously improve strategies and drive business results
• Support Plant Manager in developing result presentations and key financial metrics in alignment with the specified requirements

Requirements:

• MBA with CPA specialising in Accounting
• Possessing 5 years of experience in roles such as Controller/GerentedeFinanzas
• 3 years of experience in the Automotive industry
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• Expertise in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Proficient in cost analysis
• Strong background in commercial operations
• Familiarity with SAP
• Competent in both Mexican and US accounting practices
• Candidates based in Torreon are preferred
