Scheduling Supervisor for it's Tijuana site.


Scheduling Supervisor:


Job Summary:
The Scheduling Supervisor role is to manage the day-to-day activity relative to the operational site.

The role of the supervisor is to play back up services to the scheduler, assure schedules are being met and perform in the operational site, adaption of schedules to meet company goals is reviewed, and reprioritize of customer service priority orders/large orders are being completed in a timely manner.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute Master Schedule rolling 25 day master production plan of sales orders to level load and balance for all brands, taking into consideration sales forecast, historical sales, new business opportunities. Analyze and identify risk built into the master production plan, which includes manufacturing leadtime and flexing operational capacity.
  • Work with operations managers/supply chain/warehouse on challenges and risk to master schedule, such as capacity, parts availability, and coordination to move raw materials to support demand.
  • Building an operational sitespecific score card of the performance of the site. This should include how master schedule vs actual, overtime of the operational lines, schedule attainment, and remakes/reworks being perform on the site.
  • Evaluation of missed ship date and leadtime extension will lead to readaption to schedules to avoid future hits to meet customer expectations and avoid past due conditions.
  • Ensure coordination with plan schedulers to execute the production plan on a daily basis. Downward communication of the 25 day master production plan for the coming days while upward feedback of prior day performance of the schedule is relay back to the master scheduler.
  • Be able to perform disciplinary actions and adherence based on human resources defined policy

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Managing/supervisor experience for min of 2 years' experience.
  • Organization/Planning for a Manufacturing company 3 years minimum experience.
  • Experience in managing manufacturing process, productivity, and efficiency measurement.
  • Must have a strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Microsoft office
  • Experience in Microsoft AX MRP/ERP system to extract data for planning
  • APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) desirable
  • Knowledge of supply chain process and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand, and replenishment process.
  • Possess strong communication and presentation skills. Must have strong negotiation skills with the ability to reason and influence at all levels.
  • Ability to manage complexity and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities.
