International Project / Program Manager:


About the Role:


At Essity we are seeking a highly experienced, skilled and influential International Business Project Manager who can lead & deliver complex, high value innovation and capital equipment projects across an international environment, as well as supporting the improvement of Project Managers and Project Management process across our organization.


The person should ideally be based in Mexico City however we will also consider a LATAM base but must be commutable to large Essity plant/office.

What You Will Do:


  • Plan, execute and successfully deliver projects according to Essity's Project Management methodologies (Waterfall through to Agile as required).
  • Leadership of projects through the full lifecycle from preinitiation & business case to project closure
  • Manage projects with significant innovation, manufacturing, marketing, change, technology, supply chain impact, logistics, new product introduction and global product launches.
  • Management of CAPEX. Typically 1040m euros/dollars per project.
  • Management of business case, project budget(s) and undertaking all associated financial governance, accounting and invoicing oversight.
  • Project management of diverse, multifunctional global project teams, suppliers and 3rd parties.
  • Inspire, lead and motivate cross functional teams and senior Stakeholders
  • Establish efficient and robust project governance and steering function within projects.
  • Ensure effective communication to stakeholders up, down and across the global matrix.
  • Report in written and verbal formats upon projects to a wide range of forums, varying from 1:1 through to communications with large global remote teams and deploying standardised KPIs.
  • Develop, improve and support the introduction of world class processes and tools in the area of Project Management
  • Be a role model and leader of world class Project Management, comfortable & experienced with multiple methodologies from Agile through waterfall

Who You Are:


You have a proven strategic mindset, extensive Project Management background and ability to drive tactical project execution across a complex global matrix organization.


Your passion, business acumen and high level of management ability will mean you are comfortable and have a track record of delivering capital equipment projects, associated product innovation in an innovative Marketing/Manufacturing/Supply Chain environment.

You will be able to resolve sometimes ambiguous requirements from diverse global stakeholders (Sales, R&D, Technology, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance etc) and lead global remote teams to the development of a clear scope, a well-supported plan and achieve a successful project completion.


You have high level of attention to details in projects and ensure same from Project team whilst also maintaining ability / agility to understand the big picture, changing contexts and influencing strategic change if needed.

Key Experiences / Qualifications

University Degree in Project Management, Science, Marketing or related fields

+10 years of experience in International Project Management
:

Ideally PMP certified or able to demonstrate similar level of achievement

5-10 years' experience in Operations/Manufacturing/Marketing/Product
Development/Engineering/Technology

Fully fluent in English language:

Significant and demonstrated experience leading multifunctional Project teams with the ability to prioritize speed to market, product/process development and Manufacturing start-ups
