    Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

    Job Overview

    This position is responsible for financial reporting and analysis with an emphasis on budgeting, modeling, forecasting, metrics and variance analysis, process improvement and business measurement.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support for finance, sales and operations teams by compiling and analyzing financial results of the company, interpreting financial reports and communicating results and operational expectations as well as making recommendations or required changes.
  • Create and maintain the financial planning process (budgeting, forecasting and modeling) for operations, sales growth, acquisitions, financing models, etc.
  • Develop and prepare key operational and financial metrics dashboard for senior management.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance in order to spot trends and identify opportunities and risks.
  • Create and provide value added analysis and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain senior management level reporting as well as provide actionable insight through detailed in-depth analysis.
  • Provide benchmarking analysis of peer group companies.
  • Develop methodologies to evaluate business performance and profitability.
  • Create financial and payback models to analyze complex business issues and business development opportunities.
  • Business Travel and Physical Demands

  • Business travel of approximately 10 or less percent yearly is expected for this position.
  • Office environment.
  • Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • Seven or more years of financial planning and analysis experience in a global environment.
  • CPA preferred
  • Knowledge of GAAP and all aspects of general accounting.
  • Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving and analytical skills required.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively across all functions of the organization.
  • Posses a strong knowledge of financial systems, cost accounting and financial modeling.
  • Strong skills in MS office - excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with business lines and disciplines to identify opportunities and deliver financial management solutions.
  • Ability to provide analysis and recommendations that are clear, concise and thorough.
