Marine Manager

What can you expect?
As part of the operations organization in Marsh México, you will be responsible for the client service delivery.

In that role, you will work closely with Sales, Regional leaders and internal clients in support of revenue growth strategy.

Beyond ensuring excellent day-to-day service standards, the role also includes focus on develop the Marine business with external clients.

We will count on you to:

Clients administration management with Sales team
Certificates and policy documents issuance management
Coordinate daily operations of Executives (23 people)
Facility insurances negotiations with local market and reinsurance
Build and maintain a positive and supportive work environment that encourages respect, motivation and effectiveness
Business development for Marine clients (Vessel Owners and Ports & Terminals)
Provide project management for ongoing change initiatives, liaising as needed with other stakeholders of business, wider operations, IT, legal & compliance, finance.

What you need to have:

Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in an operations environment, possibly in commercial & corporate insurance industry.
Excellent knowledge of the Marine & Cargo business and industry processes.
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Positive attitude and good interpersonal skills to partner with multiple stakeholders
Independent and proactive in driving execution & reaching out to stakeholders
Strong business & process analysis skills and an understanding of operations
Attention to detail & not afraid of getting into the detail of processes and data sets.
