- Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management:
- Maintains a strong working relationship with Front Office to ensure effective communication for operational issues.
- Obtains lists of rooms to be cleaned immediately and prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments.
- Ensures guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas are cleaned according to established standards.
- Develops and maintains an inspection program.
- Cost Control:
- Supervises and approves budgeting and ordering of guest room and cleaning supplies.
- Manages operational areas to budget by reviewing financial statements, budget worksheets, and payroll progress reports.
- Maintains focus on critical components of operations to drive guest satisfaction and desired financial results.
- Customer Service:
- Responds to and resolves guest problems and complaints effectively.
- Incorporates guest satisfaction into departmental meetings with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service.
- Human Resources:
- Ensures property policies are administered fairly and consistently.
- Conducts interviews and hires management and hourly employees with the appropriate skills to meet business needs.
