    Job Description

    Responsible for coordination, planning, monitoring and development of the traffic department tasks (daily freight management operations, invoicing, forecast, improvement & cost saving projects, carriers development, ensure adherence to company's processes & policies). Leads the development of the team to increase their skills and capabilities by empowering members to achieve their potential.

    Continuously work with cross functional teams, within and outside the plant, to align strategies and improve traffic process.

    Reports directly to Manager of the Area.

    Responsible for Traffic Department where main responsibilities including:

    • Coordination of the traffic team by leading and developing associates
    • Ensure standardization & correct execution of all transportation related processes
    • Management and development of Logistics Service Providers (LSP)
    • KPI generation, monitoring and reporting for Inbound and Outbound Freight
    • Active involvement on purchasing tenders for LSPs together with corporate team
    • Responsible for creation, analysis, monitoring and reporting of the transportation budget and forecasting based on cost and volumes.
    • Ensure correct execution of processes to comply with central directives & certifications (C-TPAT and OEA).
    • Develop, lead and implement traffic projects for cost savings and process improvements.
    • Understanding and usage of problem-solving tools to generate adequate solutions
    • Definition and implementation of automation of traffic processes together with support departments.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor Degree (Logistics Engineering or related)
    • General transportation processes knowledge - Advanced
    • C-TPAT and OEA knowledge - Basic
    • Warehouse processes knowledge – Intermediate
    • SAP Logistics transactions knowledge - Intermediate
    • Finished Goods and/or raw material planning processes knowledge - Preferred
    • Budget & forecast development and tracking knowledge/skills – Intermediate
    • General invoicing concepts knowledge - Basic
    • Microsoft office skills - Advanced
    • Disposition to work in Juarez Area 95% and visit to ELP Warehouse 5%
    • Learning and adaptability skills
    • Result oriented

    • Ability to see the big picture – Future orientation
    • Leadership experience - Preferred
    • Negotiation Skills
    • Problem Solving techniques abilities
