Job Summary

Reporting to the Information Technology Manager., Business System Analyst role involves_

- working on determine required improvements on the Trade Compliance IT systems, managing its proper implementation in order to meet customer requirements_

What a typical day looks like:

_ Determine required improvements on the Trade Compliance IT systems, managing its proper implementation in order to meet customer requirements._

- _ Analyze new business requirements._
- _ Define requirements specifications to define methods and procedures related to new assignments._
- _ Write functional and technical specifications for developers._
- _ Use skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in a creative and cost-effective way._
- _ Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of multiple factors._

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

_ BA/BS or equivalent work experience_

- _ Functional knowledge, education background on Systems or industrial engineer, Supply Chain areas._
- _ Typically requires years of related experience in Trade Compliance IT Systems working on topics like Tariff Classification, Restricted Party Screening, Embargoed Countries, License Determination, Export Controls Regulations, Free Trade Agreements, Audit Trails and reporting._
- _ Working experience in ERP (Baan) with very good understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain modules._
- _ Experience and general knowledge of computerized databases, supply chain management and process guidelines._
- _ Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills._
- _ Demonstrates basic functional, technical and people and/or Demonstrates skills in functional/ technical area._
- _ Communication, analytical skills, problem solving, critical thinking, team worker, proactive and prepositive._
