Facilities Manager

Develop facility support services programs

Set strategies to incorporate company-wide custodial and security programs

Manage the department Preventative Maintenance (PMs) Program schedule and task specifications

coordinate facility activities required for new or existing projects; Continuously monitor facility maintenance work, recommending improvements or modifications as needed

Plan/coordinate facility enhancements, new equipment arrivals/removals, personnel moves and area modifications

Develop emergency operating and contingency procedures for Medical, Weather, Electrical, Fire and Chemical spill response

Ensure and/or set compliance strategies for facility and safety regulations (OSHA, Life Safety, NFPA, BOCA, ASHRAE, ADA, etc.)

May manage planning/coordination of activities involving the security officers

Manage logistics and operational requirements to provide physical protection of equipment, materials and employees

Develop and implement security protocol and procedures

Manage day-to-day operations of the custodial maintenance program to ensure cleanliness of entrances, corridors, restrooms, stairs, landings, office and manufacturing areas

Conocimientos

4 Year technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management; 5+ years of maintenance management experience; 3+ years in a leadership role

Understanding of the total business operation to include material procurement, order entry, forecasting, manufacturing, invoicing, customer returns, inventory levels and on-time delivery

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to effectively mentor employees at all levels

Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools

Ability to drive solutions to complex planning issues with limited supervision

Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required

Effective analytical, planning and organizational skills

Effective interpersonal skills with employees and customers

Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills

Ability to demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism when representing Benchmark

Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
