    Job Description

    LATAM Compliance

  • Review, Analyze, and Document Corporate Income Tax Return Positions for the LATAM region
  • Develop and Maintain Tax Balances and Process Documentation
  • Review and Analyze ETRs and Provide Comments for Tax Efficient Processes
  • Review tax reporting and submissions such as CFDIs, WHT, Tax Reports
  • Analyze and review statutes & regulations and make appropriate recommendations
  • Ensure electronic invoices were issued correctly
  • Manage tax audits including responding to information requests and recommendations
  • Contribute tax technical knowledge to respective teams
  • Perform technical analysis and document substantiation and recommendations
  • Review and validate advice, compliance, and recommendations of external consultants
  • Indirect Tax Advisory
  • Represent the company before the tax authorities, Tax Offices

    • Audit

  • Provide support for issues arising from local country tax and/or financial audits including responding to tax authorities or connecting with service providers
  • Support Accounting team with financial statement audits for tax policies, processes, and technical issues
  • Quantification of audit risk

    • Advisory

  • Provide support and advice with multiple stakeholders on local country issues
  • Provide advice on LATAM tax implications for business and restructuring initiatives
  • Contribute to tax optimization strategies
  • Provide tax guidance and training to senior management, stakeholders and business units

    • Projects

  • Create project plans and execute tax planning initiatives
  • Issue resolution through ambiguous and challenging situations
  • Provide cross functional tax subject matter expertise
  • Obtain cross functional support and approvals for tax solutions
  • Document decisions and conclusions with internal memos
  • Direct interface with LATAM operations
  • Identify & Execute efficiencies
  • Take ownership of projects and deliver on tight deadlines
  • Handle Service Provider engagements, fees, negotiations, scope
