Over the last five years, Diageo Mexico has achieved significant double-digit growth in sales and increased market share through outstanding brand building, world-class Commercial partnerships and brilliant execution in a wide range of categories: Whisky, Tequila, Rum, Vodka, Gin, Mezcal and Liquor; challenging in different market segments: Emerging Middle Class, Premium and Luxury.


To deliver our performance ambition, we need to become the best Marketing and Sales organization passionate about winning every day, everywhere with customers and consumers.

In the last few years, the eCommerce channel has grown exponentially in sales and relevance (accelerating through the pandemic) and now plays a meaningful role in winning with customers, shoppers and consumers in new emerging shopping missions and channels.


  • Market Complexity_


In Mexico, volume and value sales of spirits have been on the rise and so has Diageo's share in the On and Off Trade channels.

However, as the market expands our competition has become intelligent and stronger, whilst more and more players continue to enter the market.

As the eCommerce continues to grow, existing customers become more sophisticated and new players emerge, requiring us to deliver a higher level of strategic involvement and outstanding execution to grow our brands and categories in partnership with them.


  • Purpose of Role_


To lead the growth and development of the eCommerce channel, B2B and B2C customers with our outstanding brand portfolio - mobilising internal teams and building special customer partnerships to create a profitable and balanced business with brilliant digital execution.


  • Financial Accountability_
Responsible for +£4m in GSV, +£3m in NSV and +30K 9LC in Vol

  • Key Functional Responsibilities_
  • Crafting the longterm strategy and best in class JBPs in support of Diageo and our customer's ambition
  • World class account management ensuring responsible budget management in line with Trade Strategy, compliance with all CARM processes, appropriate levels of stock, optimal assortment, efficient distribution, timely cash collection and brilliant digital execution
  • Forecasting, analysis and development of insights that can be quickly turned into actions that strengthen our Marketing and Commercial activities


  • Key Leadership Responsibilities_

  • Leading crossfunctional teams across all areas of Diageo (Finance, Supply, Marketing, Customer Marketing, etc.) to develop, implement and measure all JBP activities; as well as going after opportunities that grow the category and increase penetration in TBA
  • Building strategic customer partnerships, effectively becoming a supplier of choice through a strong and integrated customer value creation approach (pleDge)
  • Qualifications & Experience Required_
  • Degree in Business or Engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, sophisticated English (90%) and Microsoft Office eCommerce, Digital and/or Account Management experience in CPG companies
  • Solid Commercial savvy fully capable in Diageo Way of Selling
  • P&L and broader financial understanding
  • Shown strategic, planning, analytical and negotiation skills
  • Able to mobilise the business around a clear goal and engage key customers at all levels
  • A driven selfstarter, obsessed with winning and performing thoughtfully
  • Ability to prioritise and work as a great teammate
