- Advanced communication English skills
- Minimum 5+plus; years of relevant experience in backup solution management
- Engineer and maintain Rubrik data protection in the private and public cloud
- In-depth knowledge of backup technology and recovery/retention procedure.
- Experience troubleshooting and solving difficult system problems (hardware, software, and basic networking).
- Ability to balance multiple, concurrent projects and regularly communicate issues and experience working in an autonomous, fast-paced environment with minimal guidance.
- Analyze, design, test, document, and implement solutions for continuous data availability, integrity, backup and protection.
- Resolve complex problems with little or no guidance; independently research and promote specialized technical solutions
- Design and implement new data protection solutions, manage change, and add backup policies in a large-scale, mission-critical, multi-PB storage environment.
- Minimum five years of recent experience analyzing complex hardware and software issues associated with backup-related technologies such as Symantec NetBackup, Rubrik, DataDomain, and similar backup technologies
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Knowledge of storage solutions from EMC, NetApp, Pure, and similar technologies
- Experience with Enterprise data protection and disaster recover solution and strong understanding of enterprise application data management requirements
- Excellent planning, interpersonal, problem solving, leadership and organization skills are required; strong communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation are necessary; active listening skills are required
