Sales Representative Separation and Purification Science Division (New Health Care Company), Monterrey Mexico,


3M is establishing two industry-leading companies, creating value through the spin-off of its Health Care business, while 3M will continue to be a global material science leader, focusing our innovation to win in favorable global megatrends and attractive end markets.

Here, you will make an impact by:
- _ Establishment and Achievement of Objectives:_

  • You will effectively manage an assigned territory.
  • You will understand and set sales goals and establish selfdirected sales coverage with manager's assistance.
  • You will develop tactics and coordinate efforts to fulfill quarterly and annual objectives.
  • Recommend adjustments and reassessments to business plan and establish new objectives.
  • You will achieve annual sales targets and objectives.
- _ Sales and Marketing:_

  • You will demonstrate knowledge and use of social selling tools to create connections with Industry and Customers.
  • You will operationalize use of social selling tools to gain credibility with industry and customers.
  • You will represent business unit products and services to customers and prospects.
  • You will provide appropriate sales support services to customers and distributors, with additional support as required from internal resources.
  • Proactively report all new or unusual pertinent market conditions, competitive activities, and product performance information to supervisor. Interacts with business groups and/or business management to identify target audiences and provide input to a communications plan that delivers the brand promise to target audiences and builds customer loyalty.
- _ Coordination and Planning:_

  • You will make plans and manage time and resources for effective coverage of territory, communications, and other responsibilities. Observes all budget guidelines.
- _ Administration:_

  • You will maintain and communicate account and prospect information, maintain company resources, and sales support materials.
- _ Leadership:_

  • You will exhibit leadership with accounts, prospects, and peers.
  • You will accept direction and assume leadership as appropriate.
  • You will assert ideas and persuades others to action, builds collaboration among team members to address relevant customer/industry issues.
  • You will provide direction on priorities and develop a shared vision that stimulates needed changes.
Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering fields (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Minimum three (3) years of technical sales experience in industrial sales, preferable knowledge of the food and beverage (soft drinks, beer, spirits, oil and gas) industry and/or water treatment.
  • Additional knowledge in biopharma segments is highly appreciated.
  • Previous knowledge or experience in filtration or water treatment market is highly desired.
  • English language 100% required.

  • Works from guidelines, using individual reasoning when deviating from these guidelines.
  • Modifies and adapts behavior to changes in the situation or environment to reach goals. Examines all available information in problem situations and uses prior experience to determine the best solution.
  • Multinational/global contacts may be required.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite.
