• Code and run automated software test suites
• Hands-on testing with tape and robots using Quantum's automated Tape Libraries
• Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
• Suggest and help drive best practices and optimizations throughout SDLC
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to develop new approaches for creating more thorough test coverage
• Understand tape library features from requirements and conversationQualifications that will help you succeed:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field
• Familiarity with any scripting or programming language, git, any DevOps or Automated testing experience such as:
• Experience with selenium, gitlab, java, python, git, REST, SQL database
• 2+ years experience in QA or DevOps
• Familiarity with systems development life cycle (SDLC), JIRA, AGILE
• Healthy analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skillsHighly desirable additional experience:
• Linux command line experience
• Tape backup experience
