Klar is a Mexican fintech startup whose mission is to democratize and revolutionize the way in which financial services have been delivered so far in Mexico, especially since half of the population doesn't have a bank account.

Life at Klar

We have a very international team with more than 30 nationalities working from Mexico City, Berlin, and remotely. Our founder Stefan Moller is also half German and Mexican, which allowed Klar to think globally since its inception.


This is a full-time permanent position based in our Mexico office.

Your daily adventures will be:


  • Forecast the budget and model business metrics to help in future financial rounds and BoD meetings
  • Adequately explain deviations vs forecast to internal and external stakeholders
  • Consolidate and analyze the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, tracking outputs and checking data consistency
  • Forecast corporate financial items as indirect cash flow, intercompany lines, corporate debt, equity method, company elimination, among others. Implement funds transfer pricing policy.
  • Quantify funding needs by each legal entity while leading the relationship with Klar's team in charge of making funding decisions
  • Lead the regulatory and audit requirements from an FP&A perspective, including forecasts for regulatory reports and audits

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Industrial Engineering, among others
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar job position
  • Outstanding communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Proven experience and proficiency in financial modeling, accounting knowledge of concepts such as consolidation, accrual, provisions, amortization, among others
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is a must
  • Successfully managed diverse and complex stakeholders
