SUMMARY:
Coordinate and lead the functional departments in the implementation of new projects and engineering changes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organizes a plan for the involvement of the functional departments in launching new projects.
- Participate in estimates to detect future needs of the operation (Forward planning)
- Establish execution plans for new projects, controlling their progress and monitoring deviations. Ensuring appropriate escalation to detect risks.
- Responsible for engineering changes and their dissemination at all levels of the process.
- Administration of the capital budget for the project.
- Keeps the different levels informed of the progress of project implementation.
- It is responsible for maintaining contact on best launch practices that are aimed at preventing risks that impact the operation and the client.
- Ensure the participation of multifunctional areas in project meetings (PDT's).
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Industrial or related career preferred
- 3 + years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment
- High proficiency in using MS Office software.
- Communication skills.
- Must be fluent in English.
