We are searching for the best talent for Data Management Sr. Analyst to be in Mexico City.

You will be responsible for:


  • Helps establish metrics and implement programs to accelerate Data Governance practices across business and tech teams, ensuring compliance and privacy regulations.
  • Researches critical data quality issues to drive root cause assessment, mitigation planning and execution.
  • Owns the development and maintenance of our business glossary, as well as data catalog, data lineage, and related activities.
  • Be a member of our agile squad, participating of initiatives that will accelerate the organization's data literacy and overall data democratization.
  • Collaborates with multiple data domains. Support data stewards and data owners in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.

Qualifications:


Qualifications and requirements:


Education:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Engineering or a related technical field.

Experience and Skills:


Required:


  • A minimum of 3 years with relevant data and analytics experience.
  • Solid grasp of data analysis, data modeling, visualization, and business intelligence tools. Including ETL and Data Ecosystem (e.g. AWS, Azure, SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
  • Solid grasp of data governance tools (e.g. Atlan, Alation, Purview, Unity Catalog).
  • Practical experience in data governance methodologies (e.g. DMBOK, CMMI DMM). Certifications in this area is a plus.
  • Ability to conduct data exploration and manipulation to support business analysis and problem solving.
  • Practical experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Design thinking) and frameworks (SAFe).
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills (oral and written), including the ability to explain data concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists.
  • Passion for learning, sharing and implementing new ideas in a fastpaced environment.

Other:


  • Advanced Business English oral and written skills.
  • Intermediate Portuguese is a plus.
  • Previous experience with Data Governance initiatives is a plus.
  • Previous experience with Data Literacy is a plus.
  • Previous experience with UX/UI/Design is a plus.
