You will be responsible for:

Helps establish metrics and implement programs to accelerate Data Governance practices across business and tech teams, ensuring compliance and privacy regulations.
Researches critical data quality issues to drive root cause assessment, mitigation planning and execution.
Owns the development and maintenance of our business glossary, as well as data catalog, data lineage, and related activities.
Be a member of our agile squad, participating of initiatives that will accelerate the organization's data literacy and overall data democratization.
Collaborates with multiple data domains. Support data stewards and data owners in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Qualifications and requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Engineering or a related technical field.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

A minimum of 3 years with relevant data and analytics experience.
Solid grasp of data analysis, data modeling, visualization, and business intelligence tools. Including ETL and Data Ecosystem (e.g. AWS, Azure, SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
Solid grasp of data governance tools (e.g. Atlan, Alation, Purview, Unity Catalog).
Practical experience in data governance methodologies (e.g. DMBOK, CMMI DMM). Certifications in this area is a plus.
Ability to conduct data exploration and manipulation to support business analysis and problem solving.
Practical experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Design thinking) and frameworks (SAFe).
Strong interpersonal & communication skills (oral and written), including the ability to explain data concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists.
Passion for learning, sharing and implementing new ideas in a fastpaced environment.

Other:

Advanced Business English oral and written skills.
Intermediate Portuguese is a plus.
Previous experience with Data Governance initiatives is a plus.
Previous experience with Data Literacy is a plus.
Previous experience with UX/UI/Design is a plus.
