Our NielsenIQ Technology teams are working on our new "Connect" platform, a unified, global, open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure.

Our clients around the world rely on NielsenIQ's data and insights to innovate and grow.

Job Description:

Responssibilties:

Write automation scripts using Bash, Python, Airflow, Groovy and Java.
Write SQL queries for a variety of databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL and SQL Server.
Manage and troubleshoot Bitbucket, Jenkins and Artifactory projects, repos, authorization and access.
Design, implement and troubleshoot CICD pipelines in Jenkins.
Document new procedures and constantly update and improve existing documentation.
Provide technical guidance and educate junior team members.
Define and follow best practices and procedures as established by the team and the organization.
Occasionally must be willing to work weekends and evening to work unplanned incidents.
Occasionally must work in oncall rotations.
Depending on location, may be required to work on a different shift that matches the time zone of the clients.

Qualifications:

Backend and frontend administration of CICD tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket and Artifactory.
Designing CICD scripted and declarative pipelines.
Automation and scripting with Bash, Python, Airflow, Groovy and Java.
Database administration and writing SQL queries.
Linux and Windows administration.
Implementing authentication and authorization, SAML, federated authentication.
A variety of technology areas including networking, storage, security and cloud.
Interacting with multiple business areas.
Be an independent thinker, with initiative and able to excel as a team member.
Have strong work ethics, be accountable, disciplined and respectful.
Have clear understanding of the software development process.
Have strong computer networking concepts.
Have at least intermediate experience in Cloud computing services.
Be able to perform in a mixed environment that includes onpremises, Azure cloud and private cloud.
Possess uptodate knowledge on industry trends.
Have a client focused approach, our clients are software developers of all experience levels.
Be able to communicate clearly with clients and management in a respectful manner.
Master of prioritizing and managing time efficiently and independently.
